Last week I hosted the Nickel & Suede team for the new year photoshoot at my home. Knowing the photoshoot was around the corner lit a fire under me to get the Christmas tree down at a reasonable time and deep clean every nook and cranny of my home. It was a good feeling to have everything fresh and cleared out for the new year.
After the holidays, home can feel a little empty or sparse? Do you feel that way, too? This time felt different. I’ve been so busy recently that I haven’t been able to spend much time on the interior projects in my queue, but because it’s going to be freezing cold these next few months I plan on making the most of my indoor time to cross some things off my list.
My style has evolved over the years, but one thing remains: I’ll always be a neutrals girl at heart. At home and my personal style, I’m most attracted to mixing and matching simple, neutral pieces in a variety of textures. It was so much fun (and an honor!) to see my home as a complimentary backdrop to the new line of beauties that launched today at N&S – you can check them out here! xx
